Again – not much to say. Except maybe that you never should shoot portraits at bright sunshine (because of the hard shadows maybe). Also looking at the photographers rule: “Expose for the shadows, develop for the highlights” – my shadows are ok – my highlights – hmmm. There seems to be information but it looks all in all overexposed. I will reduce development times – especially because I cannot keep the JOBO CPE-3 on the desired 20 degrees Celsius. On lowest setting, I am cooking my film at 25 degrees. Also I believe the scanner operation is something I really have to learn. Everybody scanning negatives is using advanced settings and/or plugins for Photoshop. I am very curious how the negatives will behave when we develop some paper tomorrow. So whoever has films ready – get them in so we can make some contacts tomorrow!
